Service Description

Stress affects every part of your life if left unaddressed. Our Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, is designed to help you manage stress effectively and enhance your well-being through mindfulness practices. This evidence-based secular program promotes greater awareness, balance and resilience in daily life and is suitable for everyone, regardless of meditation experience. Practicing mindfulness deepens your connection to your authentic self, making it easier to navigate mental and emotional challenges. This leads to greater peace of mind, clarity and gratitude. By being fully present, you can make better decisions, live with intention and feel more at ease. The MBSR program: The 8-week MBSR program follows an evidence-based curriculum designed to deepen your mindfulness practice. Each session builds upon the last, teaching techniques such as guided meditation, body scans, mindful movements, and breathwork to foster present-moment awareness. Through these practices you will develop skills to manage stress, reduce anxiety and improve your emotional regulation. The training promotes self-reflection and heightened self-awareness, helping you understand your thoughts, emotions and behaviors more clearly. You will also learn practical tools to integrate mindfulness into your daily life, enhancing your overall quality of life and well-being. Instructor: Sachin, with his blend of evidence-based MBSR training and Indian spiritual upbringing, delivers profound and impactful mindfulness courses in English. His guidance helps you live with a clear mind, open heart, and a commitment to kindness and respect. The group course: MBSR group courses (6-12 people) consist of weekly sessions, each session lasting 2 - 2.5 hours. Each session includes meditative practices that help participants become aware of their automatic pilot mode, the quality of their interpersonal communication, mental ruminations, bodily sensations, and everyday behavioral patterns. The program is primarily practice based. In addition to the 8 weekly sessions, it includes a one day-retreat and daily exercises. Key components of the program are: - Guided mindfulness meditation practices; - Simple mindfulness movement exercises, such as yoga or qi gong; - Theoretical contributions; - Moments of group sharings; - Daily individual exercises; Registering for an MBSR program requires a commitment to attend the eight sessions and the one day retreat.
